The Brunswick Regeneration PFI is a combination of government funding, private investment and expertise that will revitalise Brunswick. Improvements will include council home refurbishments, new homes for sale and rent along with an improved neighbourhood design.
To secure the funding needed, the Council has created a successful partnership with experts in development, housing and finance; blending private investment with not-for-profit values.
S4B will be responsible for making improvements and managing the neighbourhood including housing services for 25 years.
Overall management of the S4B contract is provided by Equitix. The other three partner members, Onward, Vistry and Mears, provide overall service delivery to Brunswick for Manchester City Council for the Brunswick PFI until January 2039.
S4B manage homes of different tenures in Brunswick for Manchester City Council With approximately 740 homes for rent to tenants, 115 Leaseholders in flats/maisonettes and 280 New Build Homes owners paying an annual sum ground rent.
