Earlier this year, S4B launched its first Inspiring People of Brunswick Awards, a true celebration of the community members who make the neighbourhood such a special place to live and work.

It was such a huge success that we have decided to make this an annual event. Once again, we are asking Brunswick residents to nominate someone they feel deserves to be recognised for the positive difference they make to the neighbourhood.

Here’s a short clip from resident and BTARA committee member Dean Miller, who talks about making a nomination.

This is your chance to nominate a friend, neighbour, young person or adult who inspires you for any reason. From courage and bravery to caring, kindness, encouragement or helpfulness, the list is endless. The awards are open to all tenants and residents living in Brunswick. Terms and conditions apply. Collect a nomination card from the S4B office reception, or download a copy here.

There will be no outright winners — all nominees will receive their own special certificate, which will be presented to them at an event we will host in the New Year. Watch this space for more details. There is no age limit, but if you, or the person you are nominating, are under 16, a signature from a parent or guardian will be required.
