At 75, Rob is a shining example of how older people can embrace technology, keep learning, and share their knowledge with others. Far from being daunted by social media, Rob has developed the confidence and skills to use it in everyday life — and now he wants to help other older people do the same. Through his training, Rob hopes to support those who may feel unsure, overwhelmed, or have never used technology before, showing them that it is never too late to learn something new.

Partnership working between S4B and Age UK Manchester has helped Rob develop his ideas and bring these sessions to the Brunswick community — a stroke of genius.

Want to find out more and join the course? Everyone is welcome. The free sessions are open to the Brunswick community and will take place at Brunswick Village Bistro every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm, starting on 11 September. The course will run for approximately 6–12 weeks, giving you time to build confidence, ask questions, and learn at your own pace. Refreshments will be provided.
