The first ever Brunswick’s Got Young Talent event was a roaring success, with young people from the area stepping up to show off their skills.
The event held at Brunswick Village Community space, was organised by S4B Social Investment Specialist, Sharon Thomas and Manchester Young Community Champions Director, Mike Edwards, and attracted 14 entries including singing, dancing, gymnastics, DJ’s and MC’s.
There were three main prizes who each received a trophy and everyone who entered received a goody bag containing lots of useful and fun back to school stuff, containing lots of useful stuff such as a pencil case, lots of different pens, pencils and felt tips, ruler, rubber, post-its and a mini-stapler.
Mike said: “It was a really wonderful event. Most acts were spontaneous and was a great effort from everyone. We had one of our young people on the panel judging and everyone went home with a smile on their face”.
