Come and join S4B and the children from Medlock school at next weeks’ lantern parade with Christmas lights switch-on by a VERY SPECIAL GUEST!
Who could it possibly be….?
Starting at the S4B housing office at 3.30pm, the children of Medlock school will lead the lantern parade down to the Glenbarry Play area.
There will be an official opening ceremony of the play area and then the procession will make their way back to the S4B office when the Christmas lights will be switched on to mark the start of advent.
The school choir will be singing a selection of Christmas songs and everyone can enjoy warming drink and a mince pie. on this a very festive occasion.
Please note: For safety reasons, if you are bringing your own lantern please use an artificial flame e.g. led tealight.
