Refurbishments
Refurbishment Phase 4 notification and surveys will take place in the following areas:
- Lamport Court- Floors 5,6,7 & 8.
- Mancroft Walk
- Litcham Close (The Maisonettes)
- Hursthead walk
- Skerry Close.
Please note: the surveys start June, however works will not begin until September – December
Lamport Court
Refurbishment will begin in mid-June to Lamport Court Floors 1,2,3 & 4
Lamport Car Park will be closed from 20th June onwards- please call 0300 555 0128 for more information or to arrange a street parking permit
Gartside Gardens
Work has begun in Gartside Gardens to build the new (Multi Use Games Area) MUGA. The area will be fenced off whilst the works are ongoing with some footpaths closures. The infrastructure team have also commenced works on the old school site that they are currently occupying. They are currently carrying out earthworks and remediation of the area which will be ongoing until October 2014.
Parking areas
In June, work will commence on the parking areas on the following; Beamish Close, Harehill and Hardshaw Close. Access on these parking areas will be restricted until the works have been completed.
July
Refurbishments
Refurbishment works – Phase 3 will include
- Ardeen Walk (Houses not maisonettes)
- Bramwell Drive
- Lockton CLose
- Merrow Walk.
Drainage
The drainage installation on Watkins Close/Upper Brook Street will commence at the beginning of July. Clearly marked signs will be in place for any diversions that will be in place.
Parking
Galliford Try will also commence the remodelling of the parking area on Bankmill Close. There will be restricted access to the parking spaces .
Roadworks
Roadworks will commence on Hartfield Close and this will be ongoing for a period of approximately 14 weeks.
