Brunswick Heritage Trail

A series of signs have been displayed around Brunswick containing with information on what stood at that point before the PFI project compared to what stands there now.

Download and print a copy of the trail guide and map here or collect a copy from the S4B housing office, 15 Brunswick Street, M13 9SU.

Follow the trail to learn all about Brunswick. The signs are numbered and there is a map of the area to guide you though. Scan the QR code to take you through to the Transformation – The Results webpage for more detailed information about each point along the way.

The route is flat and all within a one mile area, so easily doable for most people. Why not bring a picnic and stop off in Gartside Gardens to enjoy some time outdoors. The route starts at xxx and takes you through the neighbourhood to see the new buildings such as the new housing office, new houses, apartments and a village for the over 55’s village, and refurbished buildings, along with community artwork such as the Chainsaw carvings plus historical points of interest such as the David Lloyd George blue plaque and Sylvia Pankhurst Way.

All this and much more, it all forms the part of the rich tapestry which has made Brunswick into what it is today. A fabulous place locals love to call home.
