Manchester Village Pride Weekend

Manchester Village Pride returns to the city centre with 4 days of celebration in the heart of the Gay Village from Friday 28 August to Monday 31 August 2026.

Starting at midday on Liverpool Road, the parade will travel through the city centre via Deansgate, Peter Street, Oxford Street, Portland Street and Whitworth Street, before arriving in the Village at around 4pm.

To allow the parade and Village Pride to take place there are a number of road closures and bus diversions taking place over the weekend.

Plan ahead if you’re travelling over the Bank Holiday weekend. A number of major events are taking place across the city, including live events at Wythenshawe Park and Manchester United’s first home game of the season, which are likely to increase demand on tram services and roads in and around the city centre.
