Manchester Libraries open seven days a week again!

| Sunday opening hours are returning to Manchester Libraries for the first time since 2011. From September, four libraries will open every Sunday (12 – 4pm), with four more joining in January 2027. Plus, extended opening hours are coming to several library locations across the city.
The following will be open on Sundays from 27 September each week from 12-4pm:
Chorlton Library
Longsight Library
Newton Heath Library
Withington Library
And the following will be open on Sundays from January 2027 each week from 12-4pm:
Manchester Central Library
Didsbury Library
Forum Library (Wythenshawe)
North City Library
