Support Available:
Warm Home discount scheme:
The Warm Home Discount offers a £150 rebate on electricity bills for eligible customers. Please check your eligibility here
Cold weather payment:
Eligible households on means-tested benefits receive a £25 payment per qualifying week from November 1 to March 31. If you’re eligible, you’ll get paid automatically.

Local welfare assistance:

Energy supplier grants:
Energy suppliers may provide hardship payments if you struggle with prepayment meter top-ups or energy debts.
The British Gas Energy Trust offers grants to anyone, not just British Gas customers.
Priority services register:
- Sign up for additional support like large print bills or assistance during power cuts if you’re elderly, disabled, or need extra help.
