On Friday, 1st December, residents came together for the Christmas light switch on in Gartside Gardens.
The weather was super chilly but all added to the ambience to mark the start of the festive season for 2023. Christmas songs were playing and everyone had a good sing along. There were warming drinks such as hot chocolate and Vimto plus lots of seasonal treats.
Councillor Tina Hewitson came along to the event and said: “It was so good to see so many of the community coming together to mark this special occasion, despite the very cold weather. It was a great
way to get Christmas off to a flying start in Brunswick and lovely to see so many smiling faces. Well done
to all involved”.

And on Saturday 16th December, Brunswick Jingle came to Brunswick Village. Everyone came together for an afternoon of festive fun and games.
