Supported by S4B and Brunswick Tara, Lightime CIC have been once again making lanterns with the community at workshops held in August and early September, to help celebrate this vibrant Asian tradition.

The finished lanterns will be proudly exhibited in Gartside Gardens and lit using solar powered light strings, from 1st September to 1st October for the whole community and visitors to enjoy. Why not pop along and take a look at this magnificent display!

On Friday, 29th September, the Mid-Autumn Festival Gala and Night Fair will be held in
Gartside Gardens, Kincardine Road, M13 9WN from 5:00-9:30pm. It’s a free event with the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Yasmine Dar, making a special visit between 5:00 and 6:00pm.

Activities on the night will include: cultural and artistic performances, unique delicacies, games, wish card writing, tattoo stickers all topped off with a lucky draw and dazzling firework display. More information here in this leaflet.

Also this year, there will be the free night stalls market for those of you who would like the chance to experience running your own market stall and a performing arts stage to showcase your talents.

If you would like to appear on the Performing Arts Stage or have your own Night Market Stall please register via this QR code:

Registration closes on Monday, 11th September at 12:00 noon

There are just two spaces left for the night stall so be quick!

Unfortunately the limited free games tickets are sold out, but you can still get involved and play for just £1 per game. Winners will be entered into the lucky draw.

This event is FREE, no need to book, just come along. We look forward to seeing you there!
