S4B Community Wardens will be checking in on older and more vulnerable residents throughout the winter season.
Especially during bad and colder weather, the wardens will be visiting customers to check they are ok.
The wardens may then make a referral to one of the Neighbourhood Support Officers, if they think anyone needs any extra help or support.
S4B Senior Community Warden, Lynne Farrington said: “The winter can be a very difficult time of year for many people, so we are checking in with residents to ask if they are doing ok and if there is anything they need.
“We know some of our customers will have difficulty getting out in bad weather, others are struggling to heat their home or even eat, so we are calling on them to ask if there is anything we can do to help”.
