On Friday 9th December, the Christmas tree lights were officially switched on.
A huge thanks to Councillor Tina Hewitson, who came along to do the honours.
Pupils from Medlock Primary School choir were on hand to sing a selection of Christmas songs, watched by some very proud parents and teachers.
And even Father Christmas took some time out of his busy schedule to make a very special visit to hand out treats to the children.
Thanks to everyone who came along to make this a truly festive experience.
