Brunswick Well-being Cafe
Unfortunately, Alice from Manchester Mind Food for all is unwell, so is unable to cook Christmas lunch for the Wellbeing Group.
But don’t panic, volunteers have come to the rescue.
S4B Community Wardens, along with Mike and Mo from Brunswick Church, Craig Eastham, Chair of the Wellbeing Group and some of the regulars from the cafe, have joined forces to make sure the meal still goes ahead.
The menu:
Leek and potato soup
Roast turkey with all the trimmings or nut roast (V)
Mince pies
As usual, the meal is free but donations are always welcome – just ‘pay what you can’, so please come along and enjoy a warming meal.
Thanks to everyone who has given up their time so the meal goes ahead as planned.
And get well soon Alice – we wish you a speedy recovery.
