We will be holding this event again next spring and will be releasing details of how you can nominate your Inspiring person of Brunswick shortly, so watch this space! The rent increase for 2026/7 is 4.8% in line with the Government Rent Standard which allows rent increases of Consumer Price Index (CPI) +1%. Letters have been issued to all households affected by the increase, explaining in more detail how this figure has been calculated. As week commencing 6th April is a rent free week for those with a clear rent account, the rent increase is applied as from week commencing Monday 13th April 2026. More information here if you need any help or support with any aspect of the rent increase, Universal Credit, Housing Benefit or MCC Crisis and Resilience Fund.
