Diwali, also known as Deepawali meaning “rows of lighted lamps”, is a festival celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists across the world. It takes place every autumn between October and November, with the date changing every year. In 2024 it begins on Thursday 31st October at 10:22 am until Friday, 1 November at 12:46 pm.
