It’s Spring community planting and clean-up week in Brunswick.
A series of activities and events for the Brunswick community to come along, get involved and help look after the neighbourhood.
Tuesday 2nd May
Community planting on Brunswick Street and Rudcroft Close. Just come along from 1.30pm onwards, to help tidy-up the planters and put in some new summer bedding plants. Everyone welcome.
Wednesday 3rd May
Artillery Court recycling event. Providing information about recycling to residents and giving out recycling bags to encourage recycling. Volunteers welcome.
Thursday 4th May
Skip day. Skips will be located at Jessel Close, Arley Moss Walk, Mancroft Walk between 10.00am and 3.00pm, and at Elizabeth Yarwood Court over the coming weekend.
Friday 5th May
Community planting and clean-up at Kale Street. Trees will be planted at Kale Street. There will also be litter picking, and S4B staff will be working with residents to raise the awareness of the problems of dog fouling at Gartside Gardens. Volunteers welcome.
Saturday 6th May
Gartside Gardens clean-up between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. This event will be organised by Friends of Gartside Gardens (FOGGGS) when members of the community are invited to come along and help clean-up the park and tidy the plants and borders. Just come along or contact Craig Eastham for more information.
