As part of the Brunswick neighbourhood improvement programme, there will be alterations to the layout of the estate and it will be necessary to make changes to the Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) in the area.

These include the parking restrictions, speed limits, traffic calming features and one-way streets.

During December and January you may have noticed some changes to the layout of the parking restrictions in the area east of Brunswick Street.  This was due to the first phase of parking restrictions.  Residents in the streets affected will have received consultation letters, and a letter explaining how the changes will affect them and what they need to do in order to update their permits.

The main change for residents is the switch to e-permits rather than the existing paper permits.  Residents are being asked to change their paper permits to e-permits. Please be assured that as work starts on each phase, consultation information and a letter informing of the changes, which will be provided along with details of any actions residents may need to take.

Throughout the course of these changes, the existing residents parking scheme will continue to operate until such time as it is replaced with the updated scheme.  Residents who have a valid permit (both paper and e-permit) will be able to use it in any part of the neighbourhood.
