Manchester has the fourth highest level of child poverty in the UK, with one in three children living below the poverty line. For these families, Christmas is a luxury they just cannot afford.
To ensure children across Manchester have a happy Christmas, Galliford Try Partnerships and Linden Homes have signed up to Key 103 Cash for Kids Mission Christmas – and they need your help.
While you’re busy thinking of gifts for your loved ones, all we ask is for you to buy one extra present no matter how small, that can be given to a disadvantaged child to make their Christmas morning special.
We don’t expect you to spend a lot, but we’re looking for new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0-18 years.
Donated gifts can be dropped off at New Brunswick’s sales and marketing suite, which is located on Plymouth View, off Upper Brook Street during our usual opening hours 10am – 5pm seven days a week. The last date for collection will be 15th December.
Every gift or money raised locally stays local. So you can be sure that your gift and cash donations will directly benefit a Manchester child with a minimum of 80p from every pound donated going to the children.
With your help, the Mission Christmas campaign will bring the magic of Christmas to more children this Christmas Day.
