From Monday 18th April until Friday 22nd April, S4B will be working in partnership with Greater Manchester Police and Medlock Primary School, to reinforce the message that it is illegal to park in front of the school at any time of day, to reduce the danger to schoolchildren.
And from Monday 25th April, zero tolerance will commence – any vehicle found illegally parking in front of the school can be issued with an ‘on-the-spot’ fine.
During the first week, Staff from S4B, teachers and staff from Medlock Primary School along with Greater Manchester Police will be handing out a warning notice to inform and remind all drivers its is an offence and causes unnecessary danger to schoolchildren, other pedestrians and cyclists, to park in front of the school.
Zero tolerance will commence from 25/04/2016, this is due to the constant problems with vehicles parking illegally, causing a danger to the children.
