Come and read and hear some wonderful stories of what it was like to live, work, grow up and go out in Ardwick.

Carlo, the ice-cream man had a horse and cart. We used to take bread out for Bobby his horse.  My mum used to give us a glass jug for Carlo to fill up with ice cream.’

‘It was like a proper show, with ‘he’s behind you!’  All of us there with our toffees at Christmas’ Pantomime at the Hippodrome
