S4B is proud to support Fire Door Safety Week 2017, (25th September to 1st October).
Now in its fifth year, Fire Door Safety Week is a national campaign that aims to raise awareness about the role of fire doors and the legal responsibilities of managing fire door safety.
Following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower, this year’s campaign has even greater relevance. Keeping customers safe is our utmost priority, and we have been working with our team to ensure that the fire safety within our properties, particularly the high rise blocks, is the best it can possibly be.
If you suspect the building you’re living in, working in or visiting has a faulty fire door, don’t walk by, please report it to whoever manages or owns the building. Here is a five step guide anyone can follow to check a fire door is operating properly.
