YOUNG people in Brunswick can keep active and beat boredom thanks to a new youth club.
S4B has worked alongside a number of partners including the Salvation Army, Greater Manchester Police, M13 Youth Project and Young Champions Sports to get the weekly youth club up and running.
The club, which opened its doors for the first time on Monday 19 February, will provide indoor football, badminton, table tennis, arts and crafts, and more to 8 to 13 year olds at the Salvation Army centre every Monday evening 4:30-6:30pm.
Sharon Thomas, community development officer at S4B, said: “This is a great example of partnership working to provide activities for young people in the Brunswick area – we had a brilliant turnout from the community on the day.
“We also want to expand to include learning opportunities for parents, to make the most of the fantastic facilities the Salvation Army offers.”
