Manchester City Council (MCC) are consulting with residents about the proposed changes to their Council Tax Support scheme (CTS), as part of budget savings for 2017- 20.
This is the time to have your say. Customers can pick up a consultation form at the S4B housing office, or complete the consultation online .
Need help understanding the proposals before completing the consultation?
S4B Financial Inclusion Officer, Yvette Brown, will be on hand Thursday 8 December, between 11am and 1pm to offer help and advice to our customers who may be affected by the MCC proposals and would like some extra help understanding what they are saying.
If you would like to speak to Yvette, please just come along to the drop-in session at the S4B Housing office, anytime between 11am and 1pm, and she will run through the MCC proposed options with you.
CTS replaced Council Tax Benefit for working- age people. CTS for pensioners will remain unchanged.
The consultation is open until Thursday 15 December.
